links, etc ’[pfx] 25 years today’ - MARC well, this made me feel old. i remember being in a shitty mezanine offce at 12 s. 6th street when i heard about the release of postfix. iirc, it was called vmail and then renamed to postfix a few months later. the opportunity to ditch sendmail was far too awesome to ignore. i think we all ran into the open arms of postfix to save ourselves the lunacy of sendmail....

links, etc blister podcast this was a solid discussion about reaching across various outdoor groups to protect the resources we all care about. paul forward notes that hunting groups and various conservation groups have a lot of common cause with many outdoor recreation groups and the hunting groups do a killer job with engaging lobbyists to achieve their objectives. my personal favorite here is BHA they’re doing great work with local conservation chapters across the country and in the preservation of public lands at the federal level....
